• Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications on AWS ECS (Fargate and EC2 launch types), ensuring high availability and performance.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or AWS CodePipeline to enable fast, reliable software delivery.
• Define and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Monitor system health, define SLOs/SLIs, and respond to incidents using observability tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, or Grafana.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are designed for cloud-native resilience, scalability, and security.
• Automate operational tasks including deployments, scaling policies, backup, and recovery procedures.
• Manage networking components including VPCs, load balancers, security groups, and service discovery within AWS.
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive post-incident reviews to improve system reliability.
• Enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, secrets management, and compliance requirements.
• Document infrastructure architecture, runbooks, and operational procedures to support team knowledge sharing.

You'll be onboarded to the tech team organization. You will be part of a team and will communicate with them via Slack and Google Meet. Periodic 1-on-1 meetings will be held to ensure you are successful and are having a productive and enjoyable experience.

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure role.
• Hands-on experience with AWS ECS (Fargate and/or EC2 launch types) and related AWS services (ECR, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager).
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools, particularly Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages for automation tasks.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and service discovery.
• Experience with container technologies (Docker) and orchestration concepts.
• Advanced English level.

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) in addition to ECS.
• Familiarity with observability platforms such as Datadog, New Relic, or Grafana/Prometheus.
• Experience with GitOps workflows and tools like ArgoCD or Flux.
• Background working in a nearshore or remote-first environment with US-based clients.
• Knowledge of cost optimization strategies within AWS (Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, rightsizing).
